We are pleased to offer an extraordinary set of forty silk-screened costume prints, done by the noted French decorator, Emile Gallois. In 1936, M. Gallois was invited to create his impression of the traditional costumes representing the forty provinces of France. The result, "Costumes Décoratifs", was published in Paris and New York in a limited edition of 1,000 sets, of which our offering is number 87. Each silk-screened print shows a 10-inch high figure on a heavy stock paper 12¾ inches high by 9½ inches wide. The condition of the prints is uniformly very fine, with bright colors on an off-white background. This set of forty prints is very reasonably priced at $600. Postage and handling charge is $8.
